Day two (Lake Como & First game)

We started our 2nd day off with a typical Italian breakfast: an espresso, a crossaint with Nutella, some freshly squeezed orange juice, and salami. Continuing with our first full Italian day, we loaded the bus for Lake Como at 9 am. Words cannot describe how beautiful the landscape and atmosphere were.  Many photos were taken of this breathtaking scenery.  Cameras were out in full force when we passed villas, such as George Clooney's and Versace. Our destination was Bellagio, the pearl of Lake Como, where photos did no justice to our surroundings. Some even met a couple locals and visited Punta Spartivento, the headland of Bellagio. Others took to the amazing shops and great pizza. The alloted free time passed too quickly as we all wanted to explore more of this awesome city!  More shopping and site seeing continued upon our arrival back to the city of Como! We then headed back to the hotel for a pregame meal before heading to the gym where would play our first game against Dream Team Italy! It was great to be on the court playing with both old and new teammates! As a team, we did a lot of great things and also saw things we need to improve on! We beat Dream Team Italy 100-82!!!! A successful win calls for a great postgame meal: Some delicious salad, pasta, and gelato awaited us at our hotel! Tonight will be our last night in Erba, and tomorrow we stop in Verona, the birthplace of Romeo and Juliet, before continuing on to Vicenza! But for now "Buonaotte!!!"
